Compassion is the capacity to be open to the pain and suffering of our self and others accompanied by the wish to seek relief from such suffering. MBCL training explores our natural human capacity to develop compassion in a way that can radically change our lives. In this 8 week course. Akasati will introduce practices, which allow us to develop key aspects of our emotional well-being including warmth, security, acceptance and connectedness. You will need to be familiar with mindfulness meditation to truly benefi from this course.
MBCL can be an emotionally challenging programme, which is why we ask participants to have a consistent, live meditation practice.
