Friends Night

These weekly evenings are a precious opportunity to deepen our journey into the Dharma (the Teachings of the Buddha) with a programme of Dharma Talks, Puja and Meditation.
Whether you are a relative newcomer or have a bit more experience, you are warmly invited to join us.

Upcoming Friends Nights

Friends Night takes place every Wednesday from 7:30pm to 9:00pm. You are warmly invited to come along in-person.  Doors open at 7:15 pm.

There is no need to book.
(Although we are continuing to restrict the numbers we can accommodate in each of the Shrine Rooms, you won't be turned away at the door. If it comes to it, we will occupy more than one shrine room for the evening)

In-person and online

This week at Friends night Maitridarshin will host a special evening of practice
within the context of Dharma drawn from the richness of ancient and some
contemporary Buddhist scripture.
The evening is an opportunity to hear the Buddha-Dharma in a context of
reflection, meditation, mantra, ritual and beauty.
We hope you can join us as we come together simply; just as Dharma
practitioners to hear the Buddha’s words spoken out loud.

If you are unable to join us in-person please join us on Zoom at 7:20 pm for a 7:30 pm start

For an instant automated reply listing all of the current week's events and how to access them, email: (just put 'zoom' in the subject line and click send.)

Our Friends Nights are offered on by-donation basis; if you'd like to donate to help keep the centre running in these challenging times. You can make a donation through Virgin Giving
