On this Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) course you will be taught mindfulness practices and theory to help you relate more creatively to stress-factors and difficulties, developing more positive ways of being.
Mindfulness enables us to recognise unhelpful patterns of mind earlier, and empowers us to develop greater choice and flexibility over how to respond. This builds resilience and confidence rather than running off old, problematic patterns of reacting.
This course is led by Akasati Annie McAuley
Akasati Annie McAuley has four decades’ meditation experience and has been teaching since 1999 in both secular and Buddhist contexts. She is a co-founder of ‘Love Mindfulness’ teaching partnership and is listed on the UK Mindfulness Teachers Network. For more information about Akasati please visit her website
