Natalie is a health coach, yoga teacher and holistic therapist. She teaches Aroma yin and blends the therapeutic qualities of 100% pure essential oils with the calming effects of yin yoga for a deeply nurturing experience. We start the class with a pranayama exercise using essential oils. We focus on mindfulness and breathing as we hold the poses, using props to support the body to relax more deeply into the postures. A 10-15 minute savasana follows, where oils are applied to your temples and forehead by the teacher, enabling you to relax more fully. Inspirational poetry is read out to you during savasana, and we end the class with a blessing ritual. This class is suitable for all ages and abilities, and the use of the oils is, of course, optional.
