Jim’s teaching style blends a straight forward friendly approach with a deep undercurrent of understanding of ‘living anatomy’ and yoga philosophy. Jim Tarran’s reputation as a yoga teacher with a deep passion and understanding of the subject springs out of his practice and study over the last two decades. He has taught yoga all over the world and has helped many people understand how to make a personal connection with the subject.

Jim Tarran Yoga

Jim first qualified as a teacher in 1992 with the Patanjali School, and trained in Iyengar Yoga graduating in 1996.

He has taught anatomy workshops, Yoga holidays, one to ones, drop-in classes and courses, and has run the Vajrasati Yoga teacher training program for the last ten years. (www.vajrasatiyoga.co.uk)

Jim teaches Yoga Drop in Classes at the Buddhist Centre on a Monday Lunchtime 1.00pm – 2.15pm and Thursday Lunchtime 1.00pm – 2.15pm, and a Friday Evening 6.00pm – 7.15pm.

He also teaches Sunday Yoga mornings with various themes.
