Protocols for In-person Events

We have drawn up these protocols based on Triratna and the Government Guidelines on Covid 19

We ask that you wear a face covering, even though it is no longer mandatory; just for entry, exit and when moving around the building to reduce risk of transmission in spaces where it is harder to maintain distance.  (It can be removed when seated and socially distanced in one of the Shrine Rooms or the Reception Area.)

Please do not attend the Buddhist Centre if you have any CV symptoms or are self-isolating because you have been exposed to someone with symptoms.

Please arrive between 15 and 5 mins before the session starts to enable smooth access to the building.

Please respect and maintain social distancing: on entry, exit and during sessions.

We ask you to practice increased hand hygiene: use hand sanitiser on entry to the building or toilets, and to wash your hands thoroughly after going to the toilet.

Once your session is over please leave the centre promptly to minimize cross traffic.

If you need to sneeze or cough please make every effort to sneeze in the crook of your arm.

If you start feeling unwell please let one of the team know and they will help you to go home immediately (assuming you are able to travel).

We are currently unable to provide drinks and ask you to bring your own bottle of water to drink.

The maximum capacity in each of our practise rooms continues to be limited to enable social distancing.
