Introduction to Meditation and Buddhism
Led by our senior meditation teachers, these Buddhist Meditation Courses offer a hands-on and systematic introduction to meditation. By the end of the course you will have a solid grounding in meditation, and an understanding of how it sits within a broader Buddhist context.
Following completion of this course, you will be able to access a range of other events and courses at Brighton Buddhist Centre incuding Day Retreats, Dharma Nights, Dharma Foundation Courses and “Going Deeper in Meditation” courses.
Dharma Foundation Course
The Dharma Foundation Course on Buddhism
These introductory study and discussion groups run on Thursday evenings 7.30pm-9.30pm & Friday mornings 10.30am – 12.30pm
Everyone who has learnt to meditate with us is welcome to join our Foundation Study Course and find out about Buddhism in the company of others who also wish to go deeper in exploring the Dharma. The evenings include a short meditation practice, Dharma teaching and discussion groups. Each course forms one of seven modules running over one year. You may join at any point in the year and choose to do the entire course or just those modules that interest you.
