Finding Peace in a Frantic World
The MBCT course teaches meditation and uses CBT exercises to enable us to work with the mechanisms underlying difficult mind states. This enables us to recognise negative patterns of mind earlier, and helps us develop greater choice and flexibility over how to respond. This builds resilience and confidence rather than running off old, unhelpful patterns of reacting. This course has been tried and tested over 10 years of clinical application and is not suitable for people who are currently clinically depressed.
This is a mindfulness light version of MBCT which is recommended as a suitable online course for lockdown time
This course is led by Kavyashri (Kate Gooch)
She is a supervisor with the Mindfulness Network and is on the UK Listing of Mindfulness teachers.

The classes will start 15 minutes early for an informal chat and will all be delivered via Zoom, which you can download free of charge.
Kavyasri will organise 1-1 Zoom calls with people prior to the start of the course
