Buddha Day, also known as Wesak, commemorates the Buddha’s Enlightenment and is the most important festival in our calendar. If the Buddha had not Awakened, there would be no path to liberation for us to follow, no way out of samsara.
You are warmly invited to join our celebrations.
In the morning there will be meditation, a talk by Maitridarshin and discussion groups.
The afternoon will focus on mitra ceremonies, where we can witness a number of people committing themselves to deepening their own path towards Awakening within the Triratna Community.
The afternoon will end with tea and cake.
There is no need to book , just turn up.
You are welcome to attend the morning session which runs from 10 am – 12:45 pm
or the afternoon which runs from 2 pm – 4 pm
Or do come along and join us for the day!
