Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy Course (MBCT)

Fridays, 19 January to 16 March

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy Courses are 9 sessions which includes the first week which is an orientation session. There will be an optional ‘follow up’ session arranged on the course.

Mindfulness Course in Brighton with Maitridarshin maitridarshin mindfulness course

Maitridarshin, (Ronnie Gower), has had a personal mindfulness meditation practice for some 30 years. During the last 15 years he has led many meditation courses and residential retreats.

He is a practicing Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, having trained in Psychological Therapy, CBT, at Sussex University. His interest in the clinical applications of mindfulness led him to study for a Masters Degree in, MBCT at Oxford University where his tutor was Mark Williams.

His personal practice and clinical background together with his academic studies in Buddhist Psychology at London University give him a broad perspective of both traditional and secular mindfulness practices.
