Mindfulness Course : Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy Course

Starting 11 October until 13 December (1 week break 25 October)

MBCT for Depression, Stress and Anxiety. MBCT is a 9 week Mindfulness course adapted for people working with difficult life circumstances.

MBCT for Depression, Anxiety and Stress works with the mechanisms underlying these mind states, so that they can be caught earlier, while we have more choice over how to respond to them, and prevent them from escalating.  These courses have been tried and tested over 10 years of clinical use. They are not suitable for people who are currently clinically depressed.

This term the Mindfulness course on a Monday evening is led by Kavyashri (Kate Gooch) who is a supervisor with the Mindfulness Network and is on the UK Listing of Mindfulness teachers. You can read more about the teacher on the course information and booking pages below.

Mindfulness courses include CDs and a workbook and a follow up session to be arranged during the course

These Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy Courses are 9 sessions which includes the first week which is an orientation session. There will be an optional ‘follow up’ session arranged on the course.
