Inauguration day: Festival and Midsummer Ritual

On a beautiful quiet house and garden up on the hill on Saturday the 23rd June we’ll celebrate midsummer and mark the official inauguration of Kalyanaloka, a new Buddhist Retreat Centre in Brighton.

Particularly for the Brighton Buddhist Centre Sangha and friends/relatives but this event is open to everyone, even if you haven’t been in contact with us yet, we’re friendly.

Kids welcome too, particularly in the earlier part of the day!

Free but donations gladly accepted!

Shared food (bring something to share if you can!) at 6pm
Midsummer dedication ritual (led by Subhadassi) from 7.30pm
Open tea bar from 9.30 until late night

(please don’t arrive between 7.30 and 9.30, any other time is fine, I’d love to see you even for a short time!)

How to get here:
